Yeah, I took time to stop and smell the flowers ... and I
gave 'em each a black eye because I didn't like their attitudes.

only 3 carbs. Ah heaven! (If you're not watching your carbs,
substitute brown sugar for the
Whey Low® Gold.) |

Servings: 1
Ingredients:
1" diameter, thin slice of fresh ginger, slightly crushed
1 tablespoon
Whey Low® Gold
1 1/8 cup water
Boil all ingredients together for seven to
10 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove the ginger from the
water. (The amount of tea that will remain will depend on how
fast you boil the mixture, which effects how much evaporates. If
necessary, add enough water to increase what remains in the pan
so that you have a full cup.) Serve hot.
To make in the microwave, place ginger to a coffee mug
and then fill your coffee mug 1/3 full of water. Microwave on
high for one minute. Cover and steep for three to five minutes.
Use a slotted spoon to remove the ginger. Add brown sugar and
stir. Add remaining water. If necessary to dissolve sugar
completely and bring tea to temperature, microwave on high for
30 seconds. |
