Minor's "Ready to Use" Chinese Black Bean & Garlic Global Sauce
is a Cantonese-style concentrate of fermented black beans and |

oyster sauce with
garlic flavor. It's great for stir-fry dishes, noodle bowl
recipes, or -- as this recipe proves -- as a glaze on poultry,
meat and seafood. Surprisingly, added directly to a rib steak, it
doesn't taste "Oriental" at all. The sauce imparts that delicious
seared, slow-roasted flavor you expect from succulent prime rib.
Use this sauce on a boneless rib steak and it imparts that
delicious seared, slow-roasted flavor you expect from succulent
prime rib. Use your
Cuisinart Griddler or
George Foreman-style grill, and, as the recipe name implies,
you have prime rib in only 3 minutes! |

Ingredients (per serving): 6

1 teaspoon

Note: If you use an
indoor grill with a hinged lid like the
Cuisinart Griddler,
it's okay to use a bone-in steak. Directions:
Preheat the grill. Place the steak on the grill, and grill for one
minute. Lift the lid to the grill and coat both sides of the steak
with the
Minor's "Ready to Use" Chinese Black Bean & Garlic Global Sauce.
Grill for another 2 minutes. Remove to the plate.
Allow the steak to rest for a minute before you dig in. |

You can even take a frozen, boneless
rib steak straight from the freezer to the grill and make a great:

6 Minute Prime Rib
Directions: For a 6 Minute Prime Rib, don't preheat the
grill. Instead, take the steak directly from the freezer and slap it
on the grill. Plug in the grill and grill for 3 minutes. Lift the
lid and coat each each side of the steak with the
Minor's "Ready to Use" Chinese Black Bean & Garlic Global Sauce.
Close the lid and grill for another 3 minutes. Remove to the
plate. Allow the steak to rest for a minute before you dig in.
