2008-01-16 00:00:00 I love it when I get validation! Earlier this week, during one of my rare trips outside the house, I learned that David Seville uses the same microwave that I do. Yes. David Seville (of Alvin and the Chipmonks fame) has a Cuisinart microwave. (He also has far, far more snack foods in his cupboards and far, far more toaster waffles in his freezer, but I digress. The important thing is that the man knows how to choose a good appliance! Looks nice, too, doesn’t it?) A range-hood-style microwave won’t work for me. To cope with my mobility limitations, I need a countertop model. The 1000-watt Cuisinart microwave is perfect for me. With 8 preset options for popcorn, beverage, rice, reheat, fresh vegetables, frozen vegetables, baked potatoes, and bacon, it’s easy to use.
